Reliable Amplification

A radio frequency (RF) power amplifier is a critical component of many wireless communications systems. Its primary function is to take a lower-power radio-frequency signal and amplify it into a higher power signal that can be transmitted over greater distances or received with greater clarity.

To help our customers achieve this goal with these applications, NVision designed RF power amplifiers with several key design goals: gain, power output, bandwidth, power efficiency, linearity (low signal compression at rated output), input and output impedance matching and heat dissipation. Some examples of our RF solutions expertise include Broadband RF Amplifiers, Custom GaN Lineups and GaN Bias evaluation boards.

However, achieving these performance goals often requires trade-offs between different design parameters. Additionally, factors like manufacturability, reliability and cost are some of the typical constraints that our customer face when designing RF power amplifiers.
